HAWAII Beauty!

No matter the day hour or minute, our lovely land is here for all to enjoy.  The ocean, people, it culture and food.

I can't get enough of the flowers!  It's a photographers heaven.

Black Rock, Kaanapali Beach Maui

blackrock

Black Rock on Kaanapali Beach has it all!

Located on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, it offers every type of ocean activity you can imagine.  Depending on the season, whale watching trips or Parasailing adventures depart right off the beach.

Want to learn to surf, this is the place to learn.  Some of the safest, yet incredible snorkeling can be found at or around black rock.

This is a great place to come and spend the day.  Family picnic areas abound with rental equipment available to satisfy every member of the family.

Bring your own food, or enjoy a number of casual, to fine dining restaurants, all within walking distance.

Don't forget the lotion and remember to keep your eyes on the waves when swimming.  Many bathing suit pieces have been lost to that one rogue wave.

The Royal Lahaina Luau

The Royal Lahaina Luau is one of my favorite dinner trips.  Located next to the hotel in the Kaanapali Beach area, it sits beside the ocean and features great food and Hawaiian entertainment.  Our kids have enjoyed the opportunity to get on stage and learn dances, and mix with the entertainers.

Be sure to book your own reservations early to get best seating.  We booked through our hotel on our last trip and were disappointed when we found out the reservation was not communicated properly.  If you use outside booking agents, make sure you verify that your reservation was made and confirmed.

Check out the local crafts being offered as you enter.  We've found many items that we've keep through the years, that are not available elsewhere.

Enjoy your stay on Maui!
