Get off the main roads and look for scenes like this one.  Hawaii has some of the most beautiful scenery in the world, and it's not just found on the beaches.  Take some tie to find out the rest of the Hawaii story.

Pools of 'Ohe'o The seven Sacred Pools

On Maui, at the end of the road to Hana, you'll find the Pools of 'Ohe'o, commonly referred to as the Seven Sacred Pools.  Bring a lunch, towels and a blanket and enjoy a day in the sun and water.  It's a day trip so be prepared.  Great shops and restaurants in Hana to complete your day.

A sampling of Hibiscus

I can't get enough of the flowers!  It's a photographers heaven.

Black Rock, Kaanapali Beach Maui

blackrock

Black Rock on Kaanapali Beach has it all!

Located on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, it offers every type of ocean activity you can imagine.  Depending on the season, whale watching trips or Parasailing adventures depart right off the beach.

Want to learn to surf, this is the place to learn.  Some of the safest, yet incredible snorkeling can be found at or around black rock.

This is a great place to come and spend the day.  Family picnic areas abound with rental equipment available to satisfy every member of the family.

Bring your own food, or enjoy a number of casual, to fine dining restaurants, all within walking distance.

Don't forget the lotion and remember to keep your eyes on the waves when swimming.  Many bathing suit pieces have been lost to that one rogue wave.
